Setting the Stage for the Patient Journey

Before the actual visit  some considerations need to be made. The main items to be considered and managed are:
1. Obtaining a comprehensive case description and history.
2. Assessing the case data and defining the treatment plan and stations.
3. Obtaining the relevant documents and approvals for visa applications and communication with the government entities.
4. Making arrangements in the city of treatment for the patients arrival.

As soon as our patient arrives we care for their support and organisational needs.
1. Pick up and accommodation.
2. Transfer from the accommodation to the clinics.
3. Translation service at the clinics in communication with the physicians and care staff.
4. Communication with the medical and therapy experts along the treatment plan.
5. Treatment progress documentation and communication.
6. In case required, adaptation of the treatment plan and accompanying administrative tasks.

Post-Visit Services

Services to ensure a seamless progress

Treatment and therapy have come to a close. However, the success is dependent on ongoing care. While also closing the administrative process we provide guidance to facilitate care at home.
1. Closing case documentation for the costs bearer, physicians and care staff at home.
2. Health guides for the patient to continue their training and nutrition plan.
3. FAQ for any required information regarding accessories or medication.
Additionally, we can provide for consultations in case these are required.

His experiences with international patients, their individual treatment and care in and with renowned German hospitals and rehabilitation centres, have given Munir Abdalla a deep insight into the international and German health care system.

With those insight in mind Munir established a training institute for medical and care staff, he designed and managed the international patient office in the Neurological Rehabilitation Centre Godeshöhe and at Salvea working to improve out-of-station patient experiences and treatment.
