Post-Treatment Therapy to regain and sustain health
At GETiCS our goal is to ensure prolonged treatment success and an increase in the quality of life for our patients.
The therapy plan is based on regaining health and motion in its first phase. In this phase, directly after treatment our therapists make sure to adjust the ramp up to the individual patient’s condition.
In the next phase the results are consolidated so that in the third phase our patients can leave for home with a set of activities to incorporate into their daily lives.

Services
Services to ensure a seamless progress
From the onset of the first contact there are several administrative and organisational elements to take care of.
Prior to the visit we make sure to gather as much information as possible to define the treatment and therapy plan. This also enables travel planning and efficient coordination with government entities.
During the visit we ensure the patient gets the right support for accommodation and transport. Coordinating timing, communication with the medical experts with our translators, keeping track of costs and documentation are part of the services provided.
Post-visit we deliver final medical as well as administrative documentation including therapy plans for patient at home.

Treatment at Preventicum

Prof. Dr. med. BaumgartProf. Baumgart is an internationally recognised internist and cardiologist. He previously headed the cardiac catheterisation laboratory at Essen University Hospital. Prof. Baumgart is the author of numerous medical publications and books and is also active as a reviewer. He is a member of the European Society of Cardiology and the Scientific Advisory Board of the International Prevention Organization (IPO). He regularly holds lectures on issues in cardiology and preventive medicine at national and international conferences and symposia. |

Prof. Dr. med. Rudolf LaumerProf. Dr. Med. Rudolf Laumer studied at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg to become one of the most renown Neurosurgeons. He has been a senior physician at the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg starting in 1986 where he continues to be a senior consultant. Following his retirement he is now making his experience available at Preventicum. Prof. Laumer’s clinical work focuses on brain tumour surgery using computer-assisted techniques, surgery of the cerebral vessels and spinal surgery. He is Vice President of the BDNC (National Association of Neurosurgeons) And a member of the Board of the DGNC (German Society of Neurosurgeons) |

Prof. Dr. Med. Rudolf Laumer studied at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg to become one of the most renown Neurosurgeons.

Wiebke Schandelle Managing Director GETiCSWiebke Schandelle has been working in the health and therapy industry for over 15 years continuously adding new methods to her expertise. Following her training as a physiotherapist, she studied sports science at the University of Stuttgart and health management. After gaining initial practical experience as a sports therapist in rehabilitation, she took over the management of the Kreissportbund Olpe e.V. and works as a lecturer and trainer for the Landessportbund NRW e.V.. Wiebke expanded her experience into management while working as the manager of a sports clinic with an affiliated medical care center. |
